Position Overview

The Landscape Crew Member plays a key role in the daily operations of landscape installation and maintenance. This hands-on position involves working outdoors on various job sites performing physical tasks that support landscape enhancement, construction, and upkeep. The ideal candidate brings reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to every project while working effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape & Site Work

  • Perform general landscaping duties such as planting, mulching, edging, mowing, and trimming
  • Assist with the installation of sod, trees, shrubs, hardscape materials, and drainage systems
  • Support irrigation setup, troubleshooting, and seasonal adjustments
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe condition

Construction Support

  • Assist with site prep, grading, excavation, and basic construction tasks
  • Operate landscape tools and light equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load/unload materials and transport items as needed

Safety & Team Coordination

  • Follow company safety protocols and wear proper PPE
  • Collaborate with crew members and supervisors on daily tasks
  • Demonstrate professional behavior and communication on all job sites

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general labor preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 50–80 lbs
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
