Raven’s Claw Golf Club, located near the historic Valley Forge in Pennsylvania, was designed and constructed in 2005 by Ed Shearon and Shearon Environmental Design. The bunker renovation project centered around Shearon’s experience with a stabilizing polymer known as Gravel-Lok. Shearon has used this product in other applications and theorized that it would be a great base for sand bunkers. This replaces the need for capillary concrete and other impervious bases typically used in golf course construction.
